Movements Off Nova Scotian Coast. CANADA INVESTIGATES. ' HALIFAX, April 23. The Canadian Minister of Defence, Mr. Lan Mackenzie, has ordered officials at the Dartmouth naval air base to investigate the report that a mothership 500 miles out at sea is servicing a mystery submarine fleet.
Mine-sweepers are patrolling the Xova Scotian coast and a military guard is being maintained over Halifax harbour.
