Although Everton 'has yet to play Aston Villa (April 29) and Griiusby Town (May 0), the Lancashire club must win the championship. Jt is more than four point* ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers, whose tie with Bolton last Saturday spoilt any chance they had of winning the double—League and Cup. Wolverhampton meets Portsmouth in the final of the latter at Wembley next Saturday.
