PANTOON SUCCEEDS. V.A.T.C. MEETING. MELBOURNE, April 23. The New Zealand-bred Pantoon, owned and trained by the former Hawera trainer J. Fryer, won the Glen Huntly Handicap, the chief event, at the Victoria Amateur Turf Club's meeting at Caulfield yesterday. North Cape, by Cape Horn from Lilock, was third to Dornford and Restford in the Khartoum Hurdles, of £300, two miles and 65 yards. Result:— GLEX HUXTLY HANDICAP of £500. One mile and a quarter.
