CRASH INTO POLE.
Hearing a rending crash at 2.30 o'clock yesterday morning, a constable ran to a New Plymouth back street, where he found a wrecked car against a pole, with a youth unconscious over the steering rod, says a Press Association message from New Plymouth. In his hands was the broken wheel. He was taken to hospital, where his condition is satisfactory.
The car was taken from outside the police station on Saturday night, and was one of three cars missed by the owners that night.
