STOWED AWAY.
Pleading guilty to a charge of stowing away in the liner Aorangi at Sydney on April 14, William Joseph Chalmers, ship's steward, aged 25, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months, in the Police Court this morning. He was also ordered to pay £7 10/, the fare from Sydney to Auckland.
