The election of officers at a meeting of the newly-formed Birkdale branch of the- New Zealand Labour party resulted —President, Mr. W. A. Christcnscn; vice-president, Mr. J. D. Scott; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. E. Odd; auditor, Mr. G. F. Bishop; trustees, Messrs. P. T. Hum and S. G. Christensen; delegates to Representation Committee, Mr. W. A. Chrietensen and Mr. R. E. Odd: executive committee, Mrs. B. G. Christensen, Messrs. J. D. Scott, J. McA. Mills, G. F. Bishop, P T. Hum. C. Schornian; social committee, Mesdanies La pish, Minter and Shreeve, Messrs. G. McLean, C. Schornian and D. Tack.
