PROBABLE FAVOURITES.
The Manawatu Trotting Club -will conclude its annual meeting at Palmerston North to-morrow. The fields are satisfactory, and betting will be on the eingle pool system. The form of most of the acceptors has been fairly well exposed during recent weeks, and the racing on Saturday last, in particular, should be of value to speculators. It is probable that the following horses will be well supported:— Kairanga Handicap — Cavatina, Guy Whispers. Palmerston Xorth Handicap—Blomfield, Air Pilot. Broadway Handicap—Captain Scott, Lynn Rev. Luoni Handicap — Mazaire, Treasure Bond. Milson Handicap—Petite. Cavatina. Publicans' Handicap—Loyalette-Tristan bracket, Sans Pareil.
