MR. CHAMBERLAIN'S PART.
SUPPORT IN UNITED STATES. Feeling? of faith in Mr. Neville Chamberlain, Britain's Prime Minister, are widely held in the United States, eaid Mr. H. L, Westbrook, a Los Angeles business man, who is a through passenger in the Monterey to-day. "I think he has done everything humanly possible to avoid a disastrous war," Mr. Westbrook "The general opinion in my country is that he 39 using the very best judgment, and J think we should aft be, very proud of what he hae done.',*
The former Foreign. Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, was greatly liked in the United States,, but it was felt that Mrl Chamberlain had done a better job than Mr, Eden could have done. The latter wae "too peppery, too fiery." Mr. Weetbrook, who is enjoying a holiday trip, ie accompanied by Mrs, Westbrook. .
