Severe lac-era lions to the loft hand were suffered by a ratpenter. Mr. Frederick Charles Bin ford, ajred 55. of 81 Lewin Avenue One Tree Hfll. when he caught it on a circular saw -while workIn? on the new Chief Port Offif* buildin? shortly before noon to-day. Hβ was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John .imhiilaiH-e, a nd was treated at the casualty ward.
