ALL THE WAY.

FAST RUN RACE.

A HEAD VICTORY. GOLDEN SHEILA SECOND. GOLD VAALS' FINE EFFORT. Jarola put up his best performance to date to win the Autumn Handicap. He was drawn wide out. but hit the front immediately the barrier rose and won all the way. Oolden Sheila was not too well placed when half the journey had been covered, but she finished' very fast over the last couple of furlongs. Gold Vaale also came from a long way back to get third. At the start .Tayola hit the front from Cheval de Volee." with Rulette, Poland, De Friend, BaTmavar and Oolden Sheila next. Ooinp alonjr the back, Jayola and Poland were on terms, followed by' Cheval de Volee, Rulette. De Friend and Golden Sheila, with Gold Vaals in the rear. • Jayola was first into the straight, attended by Poland, De Friend. Rulette. Cheval de Volee, Golden Sheila and Gold Vaals, wide out. Golden Sheila challenged the leader at the distance, but failed to reach him by a head, with Gold Vaals. finishing fast, three-quarters of a length away. Rulette was fourth. Then came Master Brierly, Coronation, Balinavar, Cheval de Volee, Poland and De Friend. Won in Straight. Proceeding opened with the Hohson= Title Hurdles, for which Agog and Airam were most fancied. Agog, who had run second on the first day, went one better to-day, when he beat Airam. He was well back early, and once over the last hurdle had no difficulty in scoring. Airam put up a remarkably good performance considering her big weight, and it was only over the last bit that she wae beaten. Tutor and Mia Aerea were in charge when the field settled down from Black Martin, Clooneen. Airam, and British Sovereign. Mia Acre.i had i-liarge when they passed thc.etand from Tutor. Airam, British Sovereign, A«o? and Black Marlin. Both Airam and" Agog improved their posit lone along the back, Cloeneen running off at the fence near • the six-furlong poet. Airam took charge before the top was reached and led into the etraight about half a length clear of Agog, who was nhout n couple of lengths in front of Mia Acrea ami Tutor. Once over ths last obstacle, Agog headed Airam and wont on to -beat her by a length and a half, with Mia Aerea two and a half lengths away third. Then came Tutor. Black Marlin and British Sovereign. Paid Over a Score. There was a great surprise in the Dominion Handicap, when Vaalestar beat Bronze Emerald. The former paid nearly a score and a half for a win. while Bronze Emerald returned a little hotter for a place. Vaalestar was always handily placed when the field settled down, and came through in the last furlong to beat Bronze Emerald who had been the leader for the greater portion of the way.
