Excellent nominations have been received by the Auckland Trotting Club for its autumn meeting, which is to be held at Alexandra Park, Epsom, on Saturday, April 29. The total of 107 is 29 more than last autumn, and it gives an average field of seventeen. The Fcrgusson Handicap, principal event, with a 3.23 limit, is a race over a mile and a half, and 19 pacers have been entered —exactly the same total as received for the Papatoctoe Handicap, main sprint race.
