A widely-publicised sport evolved at Harvard University has taken United States colleges by storm. A Harvard man swallowed three goldfish alive a fortnight ago, and leading colleges have since vied with one another to improve the record. Several swallowed 20 fish, despite the fate of George Eaab, of Marshall College, who was admitted to hospital with intestinal trouble.
