THESE HAVE I LOVED.
(By Peggy Marshall, "Clifton Flats," Auckland.) These have I loved— Roses in June, Butterflies dancing. Young lambs prancing, Spring flowers—autumn showers. Violets in mossy woods. Bluebells in hidden dells, Wet winds and sea spray, The setting of the sun Before the end of day. Twinkling twilight—stars above, And the white wings of a dove, All these I have learnt to love.
