Two-fifths of Scotland's population arc concentrated within an area of 30 miles radius around Glasgow, which, previous to the -Act of Union, was a little provincial town of some 13,000 inhabitants.
Over 7,000,000 table tennis halls were produced in Britain last year; one factory made more than 500.000 "L" squares for learner drivers. Another factory produced about 2,2.30.000 coloured hand windmills and over 3.;">00,000 babies' rattles and teething toys.
