Mt. Albert League Recruits
Popular R. (Bobby) Banham, Sydney five-eighth and player-coach to the Auckland Rugby League last season, returned to Auckland this morning by the Manposa from Sydney to take his place in the Mount Albert team. He brought with him, also as a recruit to the Mount Albert Club, a tall eecond row forward in W. Cameron. Cameron, who is well set up, weighe I3st 91b, and he celebrated his twenty-third birthday to-day by arriving in the Dominion. He is happy at having been given the opportunity of playing in Auckland. Cameron had eeVeral seasons with South Sydney, and last year played for the Queanbeyan country thirteen, which won the group eight competition. Banham, who last season played with various clubs to give them full benefit of hie knowledge of League and his coaching, said he was glad to be back in Auckland and was looking forward to an interesting season of competition.
