REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. MR. P. ROGERS LIFE MEMBER. At the meeting of the Auckland Ruirliy League Keferees - Association last evening. Mr. C. McCowntt pres.ding in the absence of Mr. 1,. E. Bull, pleasure w: s expressed at the manner in which the. recent deputation was received by the Control Board in connection with the appearance of referees regarding players ordered off. Mr. Chapman said the board required tbe at tendance of refcroes on senior matches and insisted on full reports from all referees. An international referee. Mr P. Rogers, who has been 16 yoars an active member and is now on the executive, was elected a life member of the association The resignations of Mr. W. H. Skelton. who lias accepted a coaching encasement, and of Mr. H. T. Mcintosh, now a member of the junior management, were received with regret.
