RUGBY UNION STALWARTS. As a tribute to the memory of Mr. John Arneil, former president of the Auckland Rugby Union, a granite drinking fountain will shortly be erected at Eden Park. This announcement was made by Mr. Harry Frost, who presided at the annual meeting of the union last night. Mr. Frost asked the meeting to pay tribute to the memory of several departed stalwarts of the code, including Messrs. F. Glasgow. G. Baylev, F. Lovelock, C. Major, J. Farrell, S. Wilson, C. Matheson and H. J. D. Mahon. The meeting 6tood in silence.
