AUCKLAND ARTIST.
SUCCESSFUL MINIATURIST.
EXHIBITION IN LONDON.
Considerable - interest is being taken in Auckland in the meteoric success of a local artist, Mrs. Elsie M. White, who has had the great distinction of being elected a member of the Society "of Miniaturists. The society are exhibiting three of her miniatures at their forth" coming exhibition, in the "Royal Institute Galleries, London. The council of this society has sent a. fourth miniature to the Royal Academy on Mrs. Elsie M. White's behalf. This exquisite piece of
work is entitled "Kobin," and is a portrait of a great-grandson of the late Sir Henry Brett, and incidentally, a greatnephew of the artist.
