The annual meeting of the jmrior management committee at the Rugby League boardroom last evening was presided over by the chairman, Mr. D. Wilkie, who eaid that the attendance augured well for the approaching season.

The success of the grade competition*, with 1123 players, and the high standard of the gnmee generally were mentioned in the report. Championship and knock-ont honours were well distributed. The beet grades were considered to be the thirds and fourths, while the new seventh grade had well justified its establishment. Richmond Won the Davis Point* Shield, open to all clubs, and Otahnhu took the Tracey Inglis Trophy, confined to aggregate bucceeses of clubs of the junior grades alone.

It was decided to place on record appreciation of the services of Mr. W. F. Clarke, the eecretary.

For the nine eeatu on the management committee. 13 nominations were received and the club ballot resulted:—D. Wilkic. I. Stones, C. Howe, E. Chapman, X« Carey, A. Hopkineon, M. E. McXamara, T.
