The age limit is a minimum of 45, or alternatively K'O years for the pair. The context is on a basis of the best of 17 canifK. Those eliminated in the first round will compete for a plate event, while those defeated in the first round of the latter will take part in a consolation match. In the Auckland 1.-iwn Tennis Association's hard court competitions, semi-finals oil Saturday resulted:— Fourth Grade.—West End No. 1 defeated Mangere Ontral by six rubbers to three (with one unfinished). West End Nos. 1 and 2 teams will now contest the final of this grade. Fifth Grade.—West End No. 1 defeated Balmoral by ten rubbers to six.
