PRESIDENT FAREWELLED.
PAPATOETOE PLUNKET FUNCTION. The members and friends of the Papatoetoe branch of the Phinket Society recently held an enjoyable "at home" to farewell their president, Mrs. G. C. S. Dyer, who will be shortly leaving the district. The function took place at •'Papaliinii," the residence of Mrs. R. Wyllie.
On behalf of the committee and members. Sirs. R. Ross made a presentation to Mrs. Dyer and conveyed their best wishes. Musical items were rendered bv Mrs. R. Wyllie and Mrs. W. W. Massey, while a novel competition was won by Mesdames W. J. Nicholson and F. IT. Warren.
