WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland BUr" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate variable winds, north-easterly predominating. Mist or morning fog is possible, but the weather will be mainly fair to fins with temperatures mild to warm. Seas ! slight to moderate. I Although a slight disturbance crossed the South Island last night, conditions remain settled over the Dominion. A depression is still J centred off the New South Wales coast. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north east, light; sea, smooth; weather, fine, with scattered clouds; visibility, good; barometer, high and steady.
