INCOME INCREASES BY £35L

The total expenditure for the **55 showed an increase, due to the eAteM** season. Ground rents and rates sho*** a marked increase, as did travelling «*• penses. Insurances to players, doe to tt« widening of the scope of the scheme ar the acceptance of certain hospital acosort liabilities by the league, showed an «• crease from £160 to £312.
The surplus to be transferred to to appropriation account is greater by £23 than in the 1937 season, the respeetjre figures being: 1937, £1252; 1935, £148°.
