Onions continue to come forward from Pukekohe in satisfactory condition and have a ready <?ale at 8/6 per bag The nest shipment of wheat is expected by the Waipori from Australian ports about February 28. Barley from the same source is due by the Omana about "March 9 and is selling fairly well for forward delivery.

Merchants have received advice from the Government Marketing Department that two shipments of maize may be expected, one in March and the other in April. Wheat.—ll '9 to 12/ per cental. Barley.—Clipped. 9/8 to 10/ per cental; undipped, 8/8 to !)/. A reduction on theae prices is available for deliveries from ship's side on a cash basie.

Barley Meal.—lo/ to 10/6 -per cental. Wheatnieal.—l3/6 per cental. Maize.—l 2/10 to 13/5 per cental; crushed, 14/6 to 15/.
