CLEVEDON DEFENCE CLUB.
Members of the Clevedon Defence Rifle Club held a competition for teams representing the. various roads of the district. Clevedcn City had a narrow win over Ness Valley by four points. Conditions at times were confusing, nevertheless good scores were registered by sonie of the young members. The ranges were 200 yards and 300 yards deliberate shooting. The best individual scores were:—D. Renall, 45, 47—92 : T. N. Murrav. 45, 46— 91; K. Ritchie, 47, 42—89; E. Driver, 46, 39—85;, T. W. Finn, 41, 44—85; J. Holley, 39, 45—84; H. G. Kimpton, 41. 43—84 ; L. H. Browne. 42. 41—83; A. E. Broderick, 39, 43—82; H. R. McKenzie. 40. 40—80; N. L. Munro, 41, 35—76; G. H. Alexander, 33, 41—74; I. Renall, 36, 34—70. The silver spoon was won by J. Hulley.
