AUCKLAND CITY CLUB.
Good conditions prevailed at Penrose on Saturday when certain members of the Auckland City Defence Rifle Club, who may possibly be chosen for the Auckland provincial team for the inter-provincial match, to be fired at Trentham next month, were coached for seven shots over each of 300, 500 and CUO yards. The remainder of the members had a practice shoot over 500 and 60,0 yards. A. Pieterson shot well at 500 yards for a possible and then carried on to shoot 1"> consecutive bulls.
