ON THE RANGE.
AKARANA CLUB. MONTHLY TROPHY FINALS. A double shoot of ten shots each at 300 yards was fired at Penrose on Saturday by the Akarana Rifle Club. Rapid chances of light made sighting difficult, but some good scores were registered. E. J. C. Reston and W. Colquhonn 95 were the highest scorers in th» senior grade; N. Harris 03, A. D. Chatneld and A. Buchanan 02 in the junior. Trophy points awarded.—A Grade: E. J. C. Reston 4, W. Colquhoun 3, J. R. Draflin 2. T. G. Bryan 1. B grade: X. Harris 4, H. Lane 3, A. Buchanan 2, A. D.
