RESOLUTIONS FOR 1939. NINETEEN GOOD POINTS. SAFEGUARDING TRAFFIG. The following "do's and don't's," which should be read in conjunction with the highway code, are commended to motorists as fitting "New Year resolutions" by the Automobile Association:—

Do, particularly in populous areas, keep in your line of traffic.

Do, if another road user looks at or speaks crossly to you, refrain from feeling resentment but ask yourself what was the cause.

Do drive always .with that courtesy which e-veryone hopes and expects to receive from others.

Do keep -your vehicle under such' control that when an emergency arises you ; have-room in- which to manouvre.' '
