JUBILEE REUNION.
OLD FRIENDS GATHER.
A reunion of old friends was held in the New Savoy Social Hall. Karangahape Eoad, on Saturday night, a pleasant evening being enjoyed renewing old acquaintances. Mr. T. "R. Gilbert, who occupied the chair, referred to incidents of 50 years ago. Musical items were rendered by Mrs. H. A. Keven and humorous sketches by Mrs. Hill. Mrs. E. Walker presided at the piano. Roundtable speeches were given by Mrs. Cammell, Mrs. A. Parsons, Mr. F. Nicholson and Mr. J. Mackie.
Among those present were: Mrs. Leslie, of Watling Street, Mount Eden, and Mr. Geo. Gilbert, of Trafalgar Street, Onehunga, both over 80 years of age, Mrs. Page. Kiwi Street, Point Chevalier, near the four-score years, Mr. and Mrs. A. Cutler, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mackie. Miss A. Mackie, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Mackie, Mr. and Mrs. R. Page, Mr. and Mrs. Barrett, Mr. and Mrs. Davidson, Mr. and Mrs. Jolly, Mrs. Philpot, Mrs. Walker, Miss Nancy Walker, Mrs. Irwin, Mrs. Trevor Gilbert, Mrs. Laver, Mrs. Moir, Mrs. J. B. Crooks. Mrs. Betterson, Mr. and Mrs. Hill, Miss Hill, Misses L. and M. Urquhart, Mrs. H. A. Keven, Mrs. Boone, Misses J. and A. Boone, Mr. Dent and Mrs. A. Parsons.
