Pretty Wedding.
POTTER—TOMUNSON.
BRIDE IN IVORY.
A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Unitarian Church, Ponsonby Road, when Hazel : Rhoda, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Tomlinson, of Penrose, was married to William Robert, third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Potter, formerly of Green Lane.
The Rev. Dr. Cyprus Mitchell officiated.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, made a charming figure in her bridal gown of ivory faille taffeta. Her veil was held in place by a circlet of orange blossom and she carried a sheath of gladioli, sweet peas and carnations. Miss Nellie Tomlinson, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, while Miss Roma Potter, niece of the bridgegroom, was flower girl. Both were frocked alike in gowns of pink brocade and carried an attractive pink sheath of gladioli and sweet peas and a Victorian posy in pink and a spray of blue forget-me-nots respectively.
The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Harry Tomlinson as best man.
The reception was held in the Savoy Tearooms, and Mrs. Tomlinson received her guests wearing an ensemble of navy blue embossed marocain and hat to match and carried a bouquet of dark red carnations and rosebuds. She was assisted by Miss M. Potter, who wore a gown of saxe blue crepe de chine and carried a bouquet in apricot tones.
