CROQUET CLUB.
Mount Albert.—A successful At Home was held on the Mount Albert croquet lawns, when progressive croquet was played. The president, Mrs. _F. J. Smith, presented prizes to the following winners:—A: First, Miss Waldrom; hidden number, Mrs. Bellringer (New Plymouth); consolation, Miss Kayes. B: First, Mrs. Stormont; 1 hidden number, Mrs. Overlye; consolation, Mrs. Smith; competitions, Mrs. Forsyth, Mrs. Sharp, Mr. Johnstone and Mrs. Smith. Among those present were: Mesdames T. Hodgson, Randrup, A. Jarvis, Archibald, Masley, Davidson, BardeU, Lewis, Hales, E. Kyle, T. Johnston, Eagles, West, A. Wilson, E. Wilson, T. Walker, J. Young, Witham, Laird, Proctor, Carrie, E. Taylor, H. Wright, Patterson, Harris, A. Kussell, Hoskin, Michel/ P. Whelan. Walker,- D. Burns, Angove, Clement, J. Stewart, Oughton, P. McConnell, Eaddy, Brand, G. Henderson, C. Buchanan, M. Wrigley and Dawney.
