' FOR SWIMMING PUPILS. - - : INSTRUCTIONAL "CAMPAIGN. -." Mrch _ assistance to. the local branch ,/■. of the National Committee of Swimming and ,Life-saving. in the lcarn-to-swim is being given by the Auckland Transport Board, which has agreed to..give free, transport to-all school children going to . pools' or beaches for swimming-instruction. As . a result of this generosity, cliildren; are . being'brought-from,outlying''/suburbs' to the city" bathing places', and instruction • is- being given to many Who would otherwise not ; have been able to avail '' themselves of the free teaching. -iTeacliers. and others "who have already viewed the new instructional film have been enthusiastic, in their praise of its ■■..' clearness, especially in the underwater scones. It. will be screened at the Auckland .Teachers' Training College, Epsom, on .Wednesday evening next for the benefit of teachers and' voluntary; instructors. A talk will also be given by Mr. K. C.
