EIGHT CARGOES TO RUSSIA. After the close of business in London on Friday, January 27,. eight car-roes of Australian wneat were sold to Ruuia mostly tor February steamers. The business represents about 60,000 to 65.000 tons w about 2,250.000 to 2.450.000 bushels' Ihe wheat w,ll be shipped to Vladivostok, flu? price was 23/6 a quarter. Last year Russia bought several cargoes j>f Australian wheat. Following on sales o Britain in the week exceeding 2.250 000 bushels, the trade is exceedingly useful to Australia. Victoria has not participated in the business because of her poor hardest practically precluding exports of wheat at present.
