PRISONERS SENTENCED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Wednesday. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court to-day. Arnold William Reed,- salesman (25), for theft of moneys, six months' hard labour; Darcy Joseph Steele, mechanic (24), for car conversion, two years' reformative detention; Arthur Douglas Wylie, electrical' engineer (40), for obtaining credit without disclosing that he was an undischarged bankrupt, two years' probation.
