SPEEDWAY RACING.
FINAL MEETING, SATURDAY,
The final meeting of the Auckland speedway season will be presented at the Western Springs Stadium on Saturday night next, when a programme wiil lx; presented that should abound with thrills. Bill Reynolds, the British speedway champion, "'Swede" Lindskop:, Roy Richter and the other Americans, and Australia's fine team, headed by the Wylie brothers, will be going at top on this occasion, and the clash of these opponents should provide racing that will long be remembered. At the meeting last Saturday both Lindskog and Reynolds lowered the previous mile record, the time established by Reynolds, 1.22 l-.1. lx'ing 1 3-os better than the old record. That record will again be in dispute next Saturday, and with the fine driving of the men concerned, combined with the splendid cars they are using, it will not be surprising if it is again lowered. Match races will again give the varioirs international teams an opportunity to display their skill and daring. Motor cycle broarlsiding and noveltyevents will provide further exciting entertainment.
