THREE MINES IDI_E. 1 ____ DISPUTE AT PUKEMIAO. OTHERS STOP IN SYMPATHY. (By TelegTaph.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, this day. Xo work is being <lr»ne at the Roto\vi..ro mine to-day. Before the departure of the tram from Hunt!; , the men decided to hold a meeting to discuss a dispute which arose at the Pukeiniro mine yesterday afternoon between the nianajrement and the men concerning payment of wet places and measuring up in the mine. It is believed that the men thought there would be insufficient wagons for a full shift to-day, and decided not to go out to the mine. On inquiries from the local stationmaster he advised that there would have been enough wagons for threequarters of a shift. The Glen Atfton mine is idle to-day j owing to the. dispute at Pukoiniro. The I Pukciuiro mine is also idle to-day.
