THE BELLBIRD.
(By Shirley Cnrtwriclit, 33, Wutca Hoad, Saiiilrin.uliain.) When the forest tree* moaned softly, And the tin hushed its song, A clear, bell-liks note rang out, To whom did it belong? It wae the bellbird singing, As it sat on a leafy tree, Sipping the fragrant nectar, And warbling plaintively.
