STRUCK BY BAG Of WHEAT.
Struck by a bag of wheat which fell 40ft from a sling white he was working in the hold of the eteatner Waipori at the Queen's wharf late yesterday afternoon, Mr. Catheluß MacPhereon, aged 56, a waterside worker, suffered concussion and injuries to the chest. He wae rendered unconscious. He was taken by St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where hie condition to-day is regarded as satisfactory.
