Mr. H. J. Kelliher left Auckland for Wellington by air this morning. Mr. H. A. Beauchamp was a passenger for Auckland by train thie morning. Mr. A. S. Richarde, M.P., left for Wellington by the early express thie afternoon* Mr. P. F. Not ley, City Valuer, accompanied by Mrs. Notley, is on a tour of the north. The Hon. J. Cotter, M.L.C., will be A passenger for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. J. P. Turner, who has been on a visit to Wellington, returned by the Limited express this morning. Mr. J\ Sawers, dielrict traffic manager of railways, Auckland, is on a visit to Wellington. Mr. H. W. Beaeley, district railway engineer at Auckland, has been appointed chairman of the Mount Smart Domain Board in place of Mr. W. D. Armit. Captain H. M. Barnes, captain superintendent of the Devonport Naval Repair Dockyard, was a passenger for Wellington by the early express this afternoon. Mr. T. V. Welle .will leave for Palmerston North by the Limited exprese this evening on business connected with the Massey Agricultura College Board. Mr. S. E. Langetone, secretarymanager of the St. John Ambulance Association at Auckland, who left for Wellington by air yesterday morning, returned by the Limited exprese this morning. The Rev. J. H. Penman, of the North Merchiston Presbyterian Church, Edinburgh, is to exchange pulpite with the Rev. D. C- Herron, of Knox Church, Dunedin. Mr. Herron, who was formerly minister at St. David's, Auckland, has left .Dunedin on hie way to Scotland.
Dr. J. F. Staton, a fellow of the Royal College of Organists, who has been appointed to conduct the examinations of the Royal Schools of Music, London, in New Zealand, will arrive in the Dominion in July. l?f. Staton has acted as judge at many mueical festival's in England, Canada and South Africa.
