FIVE NOMINATIONS.
WAIHI COUNCIL VACANCY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Monday. Five candidates have been nominated for the vacancy on the Waihi Borough Council caused by the death of Mr. A. E. Robinson. They are: Samuel Bonnici, John G. Cornes, Charles J. Gracey] Thomas A. Hiokey and James F. Robertson. Nominations closed at noon to-dav and the by-election will take place on Thursday week, February 16.
