WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the " Auckland Btar " this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to aa far eolith as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to fresh south-westerly winds. Weather fair to fine. Temperatures cool, but rising somewhat. Seaa rather rough, but decreasing, on the west coast, slight to moderate on the east coast. Pressure haa fallen still further off the east coast, but sn anti-cyclone is now advancing from the Tasman Sea on to the Dominion. Over southeastern Australia pressure has fallen. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-west, strong; sea, rough; weather, cloudy and breezy; visibility, fair; barometer, falling.
