NEW PROGRAMME.
RUSSIAN BALLET. < The second programme by the Covent Garden Russian Ballet Company will be presented for the first time this evening, and 'will continue for three nights only and for the matinee on Wednesday. "The Gods Go a-Begging," one of the new ballet creations, the famous "Scheherezade" and "Aurora's Wedding" are the three ballets that make up the new programme. The last-named should prove one of the most popular of the presentations by the company, as it is particularly spectacular and is considered to be one of the gala items offered by the company. Those who have already had the privilege of seeing a programme by the company know the supreme grace and artistry of all the members. The company is of a superior average standard than that of similar com- , paniee that have visited Auckland in the past. Booking arrangements are adrer- | tised.
