BETTER HOTELS.
FOR AMERICAN TOURISTS. "MONEY IS NO OBJECT." Basing his comment on information secured on six previous visits to the Dominion in recent years. Mr. Deane Dickason. who arrived by the Aorangi from Vancouver yesterday, stressed the need in New Zealand, and particularly in Auckland, for better hotel accommodation. Mr. Dickason, a travel lecturer. Is the leader of a group of 17 American tourists. He said that the need he mentioned was urgent if the country was to develop its tourist trade. To the wealthy American, he added, money was no object, and if the Dominion was going to entertain visitors as they desired, the hotel system would have to b6 Improved. New Zealand was becoming increasingly well-known in America, and once Americans started to come thpy would come in great numbers, particularly if the trouble in tlie East continued. " If that was so, would each traveller be able to have a room with a private bathroom attached? he asked.
