GROUP WORK.
Y.W.C.A. TEACHER. Miss Jean Campbell, who arrived in in Auckland by the Aorangi yesterday, is leaving this week to join the staff Øog the Wellington Y.W.C.A.. Miss Campbell has spent five years working for the Vancouver Y.W.C.A. and has spent considerable time studying group work, a subject which she will teach in Wellington.
"Our group or club work," said Miss Campbell, "aims mainly at character building. We endeavour to develop young girls to adjust themselves to their present conditions of living by encouraging hobby groups, conferences, camps and discussions. In Canada we call our club members 'Girl Reserves' and , they correspond to your groups of Girl Citizens."
