WEATHER FORECAST.
FOB CITY AND PROVINCE. .The . Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the -following special i weather forecast' for the. Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to strong north-easterly winds, changing to south-westerlies 'within 24 hours. Weather clouding over and rain developing, with some heavy falls. Temperatures cooler tomorrow. Seas becoming rather rough to rough. A depression is now crossing the Dominion, the lowest pressure being west of Taranaki. An anti-cyclone of . considerable "intonsity covers eastern Australia. GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tinitiri Island at noon to-day:—* Wind, north-east, fresh; sea, rough; weather, fine and cloudy; visibility, fair; barometer, falling.
