DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

Activities have been resumed by the Daisy Chain Club and til 5 opening meeting of the year, held in the club rooms, Victoria Street West, attracted a good attendance. Tlie president, Mrs. Lord, o;' bfehalf of herself and the committee, welcomed all members back after the recess. Mrs. Corrin, the vice-president, who has been on an extensive visit to England, was accorded a hearty welcome. Mrs. Bar foot, the secretary, read letters received, One being fi'ohi inmates of tlib' KiiOx Home, who c'xptessed their appreciation to club hiefiib&rs for their social Work.' Mrs. Chalmers, conducted a Competition, Mesdames Whiteman and Hooper being the winners. A novelty prize winner was Mi's. Bo'wsher. Hostesses for the day were' Mesdames Duplaiitier and Barratt.
