Pears: s Bon Chretien, local, 5/ to 8/ per case; :- Hawke's Bay, 8 /to 10/. Tomatoes: Outr door, extra choice, 5/ to 6/ per case; t others, 1/0 to 4/. Lemons: Choice cured, 7/0 to 14/ per case; others, 5/ to 0/. n Bananas: Pipe, 12/ to 26/ per case. Pines: r Queensland, 23/ to 24/9 per case. Grapes: e Hothouse, Hamburg, extra choice, 1/2 to s 1/4 per lb; others, 6d to 1/. Peaches: Paragon, 1/0 to 2/6 per case; 3/6 to 7/0 per crate. Black currants: 11/ per case. ■2 Vegetables Cheaper. 1 Cabbage supplies were very heavy toD day, with prices lower than last week, and - the same applies to pumpkins and mar--2 rows. There was a fair supply of cauliflower and carrots, with prices good for best quality, while potatoes sold at recent rates. Onion supplies wore heavy, resulting in slightly lower prices, and lettucc 0 was in over-supply, with demand only for best quality. A fair quantity of new season's kumaras are now arriving on the 3 market and selling at good values. Very heavy, supplies of peas and beans were to hand to-day, prices being much lower. Supplies of celery were fair aud the quality very good for this time of the year. Prices were high.
