About a dozen other visiting horses, chiefly from South Canterbury, but with North Otago, North Canterbury and the West Coast also represented, arc distributed among the acceptors for the balance of the programme. HORSES SCHOOL. An interesting schooling task was performed at Matamata yesterday by Master Musk (H. Turner), and Sinking Fund (V. Fergus). Commencing at the nine-furlong post they jumped the two hurdles in the straight together and continued on at a good racing pace, coming to the same obstacles again. Sinking Fund was inclined to hang out and finished about three lengths behind, his companion, otherwise both horses gave a good display.
