Hawke Cup Match—Hamilton Defend Trophy. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. The wicket was damp but firm and the outlield difficult after rain this morning, when the Hawke Cup cricket match opened between Waikato (holders) and Hawke's Bay. Hawke's Bay won the toss and batted. Conditions were adverse for the bowlers. 12. Everest and T. Lyon opened the Waikato attack, while K.
