BRITAIN AND FRANCE.
Additional Financial Aid For Czechoslovakia. AGREEMENT SIGNED. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 27. England, France and Czechoslovakia have signed an agreement under which Britain will make a free gift to Czechoslovakia of £4,000,000 in order to provide foreign exchange for refugees. This is part of the advance of £10,000,000 already made.
France undertakes responsibility for the interest and repayment of her 193742 loan to Czechoslovakia, nominally of 700,000,000 francs. •
England and France guarantee a loan of £8,000,000, to be issued by Czechoslovakia.
The total financial assistance to be given by Britain and France to Czechoslovakia as a result of the new agreement will be abcui £16,000,000.
All these decisions are subject to Parliamentary approval.
CZECH ATTITUDE.
Closest Collaboration With Germany. CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 27. Dr. Chavolvsky, Czech Foreign Minister, after his meeting with Herr Hitler, informed a secret meeting of members of Parliament that the closest cultural economic collaboration was inevitable with Germany, who would otherwise be in a position to use different methods under which there would not be an outside voice raised on the Czech's behalf, says the Exchange Prague correspondent.
The Cabinet has sanctioned Germans wearing the swastika publicly.
